The following date back to the early 1900's and are Invoices and Bill Heads from some of the well loved shops and businesses in the Black Country, many of which were household names for decades. It is amazing when we compare the prices of yesteryear with those of today!  Happy memories!

Whilst Kinver is not part of the Black Country, it is a place our ancestors visited or stayed during the summer months. The following receipts provide a nostalgic look at the cost of food at the beginning of the 20th century.
